Sonas’s work is made possible by funding from CUAN – The Domestic, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Agency
As of 1 January 2024, funding for domestic violence services is provided by CUAN – The Domestic, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Agency, which has assumed responsibility for these services from Tusla – The Child and Family Agency.We gratefully acknowledge the support of all our funders, which enables us to deliver critical services to women and children experiencing domestic violence.”
Tusla – The Child and Family Agency
As of 1 January 2015, local authority funding of domestic violence services transferred to Tusla – The Child and Family Agency. Sonas previous to that date was funded by the Department of Environment via the Dublin Region Homeless Executive on behalf of:
- Dublin City Council,
- Fingal County Council
- South Dublin County Council
- Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council
Wicklow County Council
